Procedure:

Both the collection of fat and injection of stem cells require the patient to be under general anesthesia. Once the abdomen is shaved and surgically prepped, a small incision is made in the abdomen and 10 grams of fat tissue is collected. Once the stem cells are prepared they are administered intravenously and/or locally to areas of need reduce inflammation and promote tissue healing.
