A thorough examination is necessary to assess the well-being of your pet and its suitability for reproduction. We provide testing for a wide variety of heritable conditions to ensure the animals in your breeding program are as healthy as they can be.
Each breed has diseases and conditions that they are predisposed to, such as Exercise Intolerance and Collapse (EIC) in Labrador Retrievers or Degenerative Myelopathy (DM) in Boxers.
Crestwood Veterinary is able to provide various OFA Testing such as hips, elbows, patella’s, spines, tracheas, and thyroid. We also provide PennHIP x-rays. We can arrange referrals for CAER testing (Companion Animal Eye Registry) by an ophthalmologist or echocardiogram by a cardiologist.
